There is on-going co-operation between groups in Bandon addressing varying aspects of the town and ultimately working to improve visitors experience on all fronts.

Tidy Towns, Future Bandon and the Allotments work together on the green presentation of the town with “Edible Bandon” programme aiming to plant edible plants throughout the town and the Graham Norton walk opening up the river experience.

The BCMG, Chamber of Commerce, County Council, Bandon Farmers Market and Traders all come together at Christmas with festive lights, on-street market, hot street food and live on-street nativity performance.

Slow Food have organised a series of interactive food skills demonstrations for Grandmothers Day in the Spring, with local producers from Bob Mc Cutcheon Bee Keeper; Ummera Smokehouse Smoking; Ballinascarthy Ladies (farmers market bakers) kids baking demos to butter making.

For cultural festivals the Farmers Market move to the centre of town; butchers and restaurants produce street food; retail businesses dress windows co-ordinated by the BCMG with materials & competitions.
